About Bright Money

Bright Money is a consumer fintech built for middle-income consumers. Our platform helps consumers build credit, manage debt, and access suitable loans and credit cards—addressing the key financial needs of people living paycheck to paycheck.

Bright is a profitable, India-built fintech serving the U.S. market, with a clear trajectory toward $100 million in revenue. Our business model combines subscription revenue with a financial-services marketplace across loans, credit cards, and credit-building solutions.

We have launched an AI-powered money assistant and agentic AI experiences that simplify access to credit. Our ambition is to build the first AI-driven consumer-fintech platform for middle-income consumers.

Founded in 2019, Bright’s founding team includes leaders from McKinsey’s Banking Practice—Petko Plachkov and Avi Patchava—and data science leaders from InMobi. Bright is backed by leading global venture capital firms and technology investors across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

With a data-driven, high-ownership, and fast-paced culture, we are building a global consumer-fintech company from India.

What Are the Team and Role About?

The Executive Assistant will work closely with Bright’s founders and senior leadership team, supporting them across business priorities, leadership meetings, Board and investor interactions, and external engagements.

This is a high-trust and high-ownership role requiring strong organization, sound judgment, professional maturity, and proactive execution.

What Will You Do?
  • Manage executive calendars, meetings, travel, and logistics across India and U.S. time zones.

  • Provide in-person support when founders or senior executives visit Mumbai.

  • Prepare presentations, reports, briefing notes, agendas, and meeting minutes.

  • Support key programs by coordinating stakeholders, tracking milestones, and driving action items to closure.

  • Use AI and productivity tools to improve research, documentation, presentations, and overall efficiency.

  • Coordinate Board, investor, leadership, and external stakeholder meetings.

  • Manage expense reports, records, events, and other administrative requirements.

  • Anticipate priorities, resolve conflicts, and handle confidential information with discretion.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Only candidates currently based in Mumbai will be considered for this position.

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant, Founder’s Office Associate, Program Coordinator, or in a similar role.

  • Based in Mumbai and available for in-person support during executive visits.

  • Strong organizational, program-management, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, calendar management, and AI productivity tools.

  • Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills.

  • Ability to work with a broad range of people.

This involves the ability to quickly glean information from those demanding time from their boss.

  • Time management: Anyone managing another person’s time, as executive assistants often do for their bosses, also needs to be good at managing their own time.

  • Trustworthiness: Executive assistants often have access to sensitive information, and the executives they work for need to trust them fully in order for them to be as efficient as possible at their jobs.

  • Multitasking: Executive assistants are regularly handling more than one task at a time while keeping tabs on their bosses’ schedules and keeping them on track.

What Bright Offers?
  • A profitable sub-unicorn with U.S. market scale – liquidity potential at $1–3B valuations.

  • Wealth creation: Equity at an inflection stage of scale.
