As an Executive Assistant, you’re skilled in the art of organization, with a particular knack for scheduling, time and travel management. In this role, you support our General Manager of Footwear, ensuring they and their teams are set up for success through your prompt correspondence and proactive, solution-based approaches. This role is based out of our Portland office and is expected to be performed on-site.
Meet Your Future Team:
You will be working directly with the General Manager of Footwear, along with the broader Footwear Business Unit based out of our Portland, Oregon office. You will also partner with a team of high-performing Executive Assistants in providing exceptional support to our Executive team across the business.If you were an Executive Assistant now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Providing exceptional administrative support with scheduling, calendar, deliverable and expense management
- Organizing international and domestic travel arrangements
- Partnering cross-functionally and with other Executive Assistants to arrange wide scale events, team activities and projects
- Overseeing the purchase orders, expenses, payments, vendor and invoice management on behalf of the executive and the team
- Developing agendas, meeting minutes, and presentation materials
- Drafting email correspondence on behalf of your leader and maintaining an organized inbox
- Partnering cross-functionally to proactively plan and schedule future events deliverables and on behalf of your leaders
- Ensuring clear communication and alignment across multiple teams and office locations
- Providing general administrative support to the broader team Footwear team at our Portland office as required

Are you our next Executive Assistant?
- You have 3 + years of Executive Assistant experience and you are looking to grow your career as an EA
- You’re a whiz with the Microsoft Office suite and have excellent business acumen; comfortable supporting on file building, management and archiving
- You know how to prioritize and effectively manage the logistics of an executive’s schedule: pre-reads, agendas and following up on action items are second nature to you
- You operate with autonomy, able to confidently assess projects, decisions and are comfortable collaborating with executives and cross-functional team members
- You have great time management skills, and naturally utilize sound judgement and prioritization when multi tasking and juggling competing priorities, project management comes second-nature to you
- You have strong emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- You are highly collaborative and excited to meet people, build relationships and create partnerships across the organization
- You have a not-so-secret skill as a travel agent and are able to manage complex international multi-leg travel, often requiring continuous changes and rescheduling
- You are able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays occasionally as needed to support our global business
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration

Compensation:
Most new team members join between the start and midpoint of the range, where you can contribute right away while continuing to grow your craft, your collaborations, and your impact at Arc’teryx. This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.

Skills Required
- 3+ years of Executive Assistant experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
