Executive Assistant to Senior Vice President

What does a successful: Executive Assistant to Senior Vice President do?

The Executive Assistant will play a vital role in providing expert support to the SVP, managing their daily operations and serving as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Manage the schedule of the Senior Vice President (SVP), coordinating travel arrangements and ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Organize office administrative tasks, including deadline management, online document organization, and accurate expense submissions.
  • Coordinate expenditure requests from the team, including review, approvals, and data accuracy.
  • Attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items. Draft messages on behalf of the SVP as needed.
  • Manage the vacation schedules of the leadership team, coordinate approvals, and resolve conflicts before submitting requests for SVP approval.
  • Handle various workday actions for the SVP, such as new hire requests, manager changes, and salary adjustments.

What you will need to have:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting top-level executives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for interactions with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and independent worker capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in travel coordination, meeting organization, and document management.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to represent the SVP effectively and maintain credibility in various situations.
