Job Description:

· Multi-tasking Administrative help needed for the Bureau of Health Professions Licensure, Multi- Boards. Fast Pace, high volume unit.

· Maintain office operating procedures and assist in developing and coordinating implementation of new ones with the input and approval of the Executive Director.

· Assist the Executive Director and/or Assistant Executive Director in maintenance of all Board meeting minutes; schedules meetings and maintains appropriate electronic meeting/event calendars.

· Answer routine office correspondence relative to board regulations, policies, and licensing laws.

· Update and generate computerized data and correspondence. Operate Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Mail Merge, and PowerPoint software programs proficiently.

· Maintain files and records such as complaint, correspondence, electronic and telephone responses/inquiries.

· Receive walk-in, written, e-mail and telephone inquiries and answer or refer them to appropriate parties for action.

· Draft letters, memoranda, and reports for review by Executive Director.

· Process license applications and maintain entries in the licensing database.

· Responds to inquiries and provides information to various local, state, and federal agencies and professional organizations as needed.

· Support Executive Director in the coordination and implementation of regulations governing certification and practice for the new Board as assigned.

· Process applications for licensure and other required forms under the direction of the Executive Director for new Boards as assigned.
