UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual (E&I) is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to support the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) in a fast paced, highly visible enterprise environment. This role is critical to the effectiveness of the CGO and the broader Growth leadership team, requiring exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic enterprise setting.
The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted partner to the CGO, enabling seamless operations, optimizing time and priorities, and facilitating effective communication and coordination across UnitedHealthcare, UnitedHealth Group, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong executive presence, advanced organizational skills, and the ability to operate with confidence at the most senior levels of the organization. Executive presence is required for success in this role.
This position is based in our Minnetonka, Minnesota office and requires full-time, in-office work.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide primary executive support to the CGO, and the Growth leadership team, including comprehensive calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense management, and day-to-day operational support
- Proactively anticipate needs and remove obstacles by leveraging a deep understanding of the CGO's priorities and context to independently triage requests and accelerate effective decision-making
- Serve as a key partner to the Employer & Individual leadership team, coordinating closely with other executive assistants across UnitedHealthcare and UnitedHealth Group
- Own and manage a highly complex, dynamic executive calendar, ensuring alignment to business priorities and optimal use of the CGO's time
- Manage accessibility to key stakeholders in alignment with the CGO's leadership expectations and operating rhythm
- Ensure the CGO is fully prepared for meetings by anticipating needs, assembling decision-ready materials, and capturing key decisions and follow-ups to drive timely completion
- Handle sensitive, confidential, and time critical information with the utmost discretion, professionalism, and adherence to internal policies and procedures
- Prepare, coordinate, and distribute materials for executive meetings, board level interactions, and external engagements
- Ensure all meeting logistics, technology, and resources are fully prepared and functioning for in person, hybrid, and virtual meetings
- Act as a gatekeeper and liaison for the CGO's office, triaging requests, exercising sound judgment, and independently determining appropriate action
- Attend meetings as requested; capture notes, track decisions and action items, and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Prepare presentations, correspondence, reports, briefing materials, and executive communications using Microsoft Office tools
- Support enterprise initiatives and special projects, providing administrative and coordination support across business priorities
- Ensure flawless execution of executive travel, expense management, and logistics, enabling a seamless experience for the CGO
- Manage executive approvals and workflows (e.g., travel, expenses, agreements, procurement tools) with speed, accuracy, and discretion
- Coordinate with facilities, IT, and enterprise partners to support office needs, onboarding, and operational requirements as needed
- Support leadership meetings, offsites, and special projects requiring administrative coordination and follow-through
- Greet and support visiting executives, enterprise leaders, and external partners with professionalism and confidence

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience providing executive level administrative support to senior leaders (VPs and above) within a large, complex organization (Fortune 500 preferred)
- Experience coordinating complex calendars, executive travel, leadership meetings, and enterprise initiatives
- Demonstrated experience anticipating executive needs, managing ambiguity, and exercising sound judgment independently
- Proven experience handling highly confidential information with discretion, tact, and professionalism
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and related collaboration tools
- Proven exceptional organizational skills with experience managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Proven executive presence and emotional intelligence with the ability to represent the office and interact confidently, professionally, and effectively with senior executives, internal partners, and external stakeholders
- Resides within commuting distance to Minnetonka, MN; willing and able to work onsite in Minnetonka five (5) days per week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting C suite or enterprise growth, strategy, or commercial leaders
- SharePoint experience and comfort managing executive level content repositories
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to enhance productivity and executive support effectiveness
- Familiarity with healthcare or regulated industries
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $32.40 to $57.16 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
