Job Description:
Duties/ResponsibilitiesAssist the President by working with members of the executive staff on assignments and independently administer matters as required in a timely and professional manner
Conduct matters pertaining to President and Scottish Rite for Children Board of Trustees in an efficient and professional manner
Assist and interact with the Chairman of the Board and trustees whenever needed, in their responsibility to the hospital
Manage correspondence for the Chairman when appropriate
Manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, meetings, appointments, calls, and commitments
Prepare meeting notes, agendas, summaries, and supporting documents
Handle special projects for the President as requested on a timely and efficient basis; work Includes handling request from trustees, community members, volunteers, and staff in order to uphold the mission of the hospital
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Executive Assistant to a senior executive – preferably a CEO in a large or mid-sized healthcare environment
Proven ability to manage complexity, competing priorities, and sensitive information in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a high attention to detail
Strong calendar management skills with the ability to take accurate and detailed meeting notes and minutes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, calendars, spreadsheets, and shared electronic filing systems
Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong judgment, discretion, and personal integrity
Ability to anticipate needs and operate with increasing autonomy; discerning what can be delegated, what and when to escalate to CEO
Skills Required
- Experience as an Executive Assistant to a senior executive, preferably a CEO in a large or mid-sized healthcare environment
- Proven ability to manage complexity, competing priorities, and sensitive information in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
