We’re a Member-owned organisation with over 30,000 automotive and allied repair Members across Australia and New Zealand, ranging from national franchises to your local family workshop.
Since 1974 we’ve been supporting our Members with the solutions that really matter, centred around our flagship Trade Account which gives our Members access to instant credit with over 2,000 Preferred Suppliers, simplified monthly expenses, and a generous rewards program as the cherry on top.
Beyond that, our Members can also access a wide range of exclusive products each designed to support our Members to thrive. Role Purpose
Responsible for understanding the responsibilities, needs and priorities of the executive to support the development and delivery of strategic initiatives. The key being to create the time and space needed for the executive to focus on the most critical demands. This service-oriented position operates within a very busy environment where excellent organisational skills and a high degree of responsiveness and forward-thinking are critical to meet departmental demands in a timely manner. This position also requires the incumbent to have superior communication skills as they will be required to work with stakeholders from all levels within the organisation.
Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
• A sound understanding of executive support practices.
• Strong interpretation skills in the development of presentations (essential).
• Ability to use appropriate office software systems to maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Advanced ability in the use of MS Office products (including Outlook, Teams & Powerpoint) (essential).
Experience
• Experience in meeting business demands, deadlines, and timeframes as they arise.
• Ability to connect the dots and create alignment between different parties.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong planning and organisation skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and can converse at all levels within the organisation.
• Proactively shares information where appropriate and promotes effective teamwork principles. High level of service orientation.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Ability to show initiative and work with minimum supervision.
• Experience in Financial services and/or Corporate Development team (Desired)
Qualifications
• Degree qualified (preferred but not essential)
• Diploma in Business Studies (preferred but not essential)
