Within the Fraud Operations organization, we have an immediate opening for an Associate Research Analyst.
This position plays a key role in identifying and investigating businesses that may be exhibiting malfeasant characteristics. This position will also be responsible for identifying new high-risk patterns and working amongst various teams at Dun & Bradstreet to protect the database from material misrepresentation. These efforts seek to make the organization more effective and efficient while delivering outstanding customer value.
Essential Key Responsibilities
- Identify and investigate incidents of high-risk and fraud, primarily in the United States and on occasion in other markets.
- Use business analysis tools and techniques to identify suspicious business characteristics as part of targeted projects on same.
- Work as part of a team to produce changes to protect the D&B database from material misrepresentation.
Education/ Experience
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
- 1+ years of business investigations experience using open-sources, signal and human sources. Ability to conduct detailed investigative phone interviews.
- Proficient skills and experience in the use of MS-Suite required. Use of link-analysis or social network analysis tools (Analyst-Notebook, Palantir…graph databases) a plus.
- Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good to have Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.
