In this role you will provide executive-level support for senior management staff in program analysis involving support for transition, integration, and implementation of selected National Airspace System (NAS) modernization and support programs which include Lines of Business and Staff Offices across the FAA.
Specifically, this work directly supports the FAA’s safety mission and statutory requirements across multiple functional areas including safety oversight, security, and FAA Reauthorization implementation activities. The position will be located at FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC. Position requires in-person support.
You will provide high-level administrative support not only using established rules, policies, and procedures to carry out all administrative and/or non-technical functions but use analytical skills to properly assess and execute various executive level tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role of executive-level administrative support for the senior management staff of the FAA Office of Policy, International Affairs, and Environment encompasses program analysis, calendar maintenance, appointment scheduling, maintenance of all office files and correspondence, applying established rules, policies, and procedures in executing all administrative and/or non-technical functions including support in the following tasks:
• Act as centralized point of contact for all Executive Assistants on Office of Policy.
• Review and prepare electronic travel authorizations and vouchers submitted by staff in accordance with FAA Travel Policy.
• Receive, review, modify, update, track and distribute internal and external correspondence and other actions throughout their lifecycle.
• Provide logistical support (i.e., meetings, teleconferences, etc.) and phone management to include answering phones and addressing general inquiries. Schedule and plan meetings and/or teleconferences to include preparing support materials, reserving meeting locations, taking accurate meeting minutes, and following up with summary notes/minutes or reports from meetings. Prepare and distribute in-person meetings and teleconference notes/minutes from teleconferences and meetings.
• Maintain office files, records and logs showing the status of actions and correspondence. Ensure that routed document packets include all required documents and that all documents are signed, approved and/or reviewed. Perform file maintenance assuming responsibility for the accuracy of the filing.
• Provide office management to include calendar maintenance and scheduling appointments for the team and/or management.
• Supply management to include ordering and tracking supply levels, compiling requests from team for office supplies, etc.
• Enter time and attendance records in the FAA Time Reporting System (i.e., CASTLE).
• Review & finalize documents for Task Order Manager and customer.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 4+ years of prior relevant experience. Equivalent relevant experience can be considered in lieu of education.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to various levels of management.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Budget adherence experience.
• Ability to organize meetings consisting of agency and external stakeholders with a broad range of specialties and interests.
• High proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Office, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience working in federal government contracting.
• Working knowledge of FAA systems including CASTLE.

Pay Range:Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
