Job Summary
Responsible for performance of varied administrative duties and designated administrative functions for assigned Executive. Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship with the day-to-day work activities within assigned function. Work independently under general supervision and guidance in carrying out assigned responsibilities. Ensure that strict confidentiality is consistently maintained in order that all records, documents and related information pertaining to high level executive plans and decisions affecting Company operations are not compromised. Relieve executive of designated administrative details, exercise judgment and make decisions within the scope of authority.Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Keep informed and up-to-date on Company policies and practices relating to the functions of the executive office in order to make administrative decisions within the limits of approved programs.
- Relay messages and instructions to subordinates as requested and provide follow up on pending matters, such as requests for information or proposals for action.
- Answer inquiries and screen telephone calls, visitors and incoming mail, direct technical inquires to the proper persons and personally respond to questions and furnish information as required.
- Compile and prepare correspondence and reports from general instructions and, using independent judgment, follow through on assigned projects. Inspect all papers, Company documents, and calculations to ensure the accuracy and /or consistency of information flowing through the executive office.
- Establish and maintain document retrieval systems.
- Plan appointments, meetings and travel arrangements and maintain an accurate calendar.
What We're Looking For:
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent education and /or experience.
- Some college and/or office administrator training desirable.
Work Experience:
- 5 yrs or more of diversified thorough experience gained from work in various areas within the organization or similar administrative exp.
- Must be computer/PC competent and have exp in utilizing general administrative office procedures and practices.
