About the Role
The Executive Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing client invoicing, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and supporting statutory audits. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively within a structured control and compliance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records through proper bookkeeping and periodic adjustments.
• Ensure all accounting entries are recorded in compliance with internal policies and IFRS standards.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

Invoicing & Receivables/Payables Management

• Prepare, review, and manage client invoices with complete and accurate supporting documentation.
• Monitor and manage trade receivables and payables, ensuring timely follow-ups and reconciliations.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders when required.

Intercompany Accounting & Reporting

• Record and manage intercompany accounting transactions accurately.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve variances on a timely basis.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual intercompany financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure transparency and accuracy of intercompany balances across group entities.

Audit & Compliance

• Assist in statutory and internal audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain audit-ready records and ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation and adherence to internal controls.

• ACCA or CA (Inter) qualification (mandatory).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Prior experience in a structured accounting or corporate finance environment is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial control processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level preferred).
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
