Execution Test Engineer

Onsite - This position requires the employee to be onsite full-time. The work location is Spring Hill, TN.
The Role
As an Execution Engineer, you will be responsible for the design review and simultaneous engineering of new equipment, coordination of equipment installs, debug, runoff/qualification and PPAP of EV manufacturing processes. Once the process is qualified and launched, the role focuses on completing safety sign-off (Green Tag) and meeting launch deliverables (i.e., safety, quality, thruput, cycle time, etc.) through the coordination of continuous improvement tasks. Work is performed in a team environment, consisting of daily interactions with product engineering, plant engineering, controls engineers, maintenance, and the operations team.
What You Will Do
- Equipment Runoff @ OEM (local travel).
- Collaboration with the Operations Launch Team on Program Deliverables:
- PFMEAs Review / Simulation Review / Control Plans / Launch Deliverables.
- Plant Equipment Install / Debug / Launch / Continuous Improvement.
- Project management for Project Execution.
- Develop and lead the PPAP review meetings in area of responsibility utilizing the PPAP checklist, capturing exceptions.
- Lead the lessons learned gathering activity and feedback the information to the central process team for BOE/BOP updates.
- Closure of all ME open issues for Launch Deliverables.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- 5+ years of Manufacturing Experience working with batteries and/or battery program execution
- 5+ years of Professional experience working with fully automated production systems
- Professional experience commissioning equipment within large scale manufacturing environment
- Experience using Bauer software
- Experience conducting electrical and leak test
- Bachelor's degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred) or equivalent technical experience
