The Role
As an Executive Territory Account Manager here at Illumina in France, you will take a strategic role in driving sales and building strong relationships with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, academic, and government organizations across your territory. You’ll partner with research teams to deliver innovative solutions, providing expertise on our portfolio of scientific products, instruments, and services. This senior-level position is critical to influencing adoption of Illumina’s technologies and ensuring our customers achieve their research goals.

Extensive experience in life sciences or related fields, supported by a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or PhD preferred).
Demonstrated ability to manage strategic accounts and influence senior decision-makers.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt your style to diverse audiences.
A collaborative mindset and the confidence to mentor junior colleagues when needed.
Fluency in French and English is essential; additional European language skills are a plus.
Ability to travel regularly within South France (Toulouse/Bordeaux region) to meet customers.
You must already be based near Lyon or Paris – relocation is not available for this role.

Strategic Account Management & Sales Leadership
Drive sales of Illumina’s products and services within your assigned territory.
Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize growth and customer satisfaction.
Negotiate pricing and terms to align with company objectives.

The estimated base salary range for the Executive Territory Account Manager - Clinical role based in France is EUR 66,300 - 99,500. The range reflects long‑term growth in the role; therefore, most candidates are hired between the minimum and middle of the range. Placement depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This salary range applies to the primary posting location listed above. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range will be updated accordingly. Compensation ranges for other locations will differ to reflect local market competitiveness and will be shared with candidates if applicable during the recruitment process. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
