Job Duties:

The EVS Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the EVS Department.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to hiring, training, coaching and evaluating team, and directing team regarding departmental policies and procedures. Oversee the week-to-week work schedule for all team members, as well as, scheduling their vacation/personal time off.  Responsible for creating the departmental operational budget and working within that budget by maintaining and tracking the inventory of supplies needed for the day-to-day operations and by managing labor. Reacts to challenges by formulating and presenting proposed solutions to the management team.  Manager will prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations for maintenance, repair, and changes in operational procedures.  Report any observed security, environmental, and health/safety related concerns. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.  Promotes superior guest service.

Minimum Qualifications:

College degree preferred, minimum of three years experience as a Supervisor/Manager in a high volume, complex casino/hotel environment.  Must possess excellent communications skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all team members. Must be available to work various shifts and flexible hours.
