We are looking for a Head of Web & SEO to define and lead the strategic direction, innovation and development of EverPro’s Web and SEO efforts. This role requires a high-caliber leader with digital transformation, web technology and growth strategy expertise. You will lead a team of internal and/or external partners to create a best-in-class web presence that accelerates company growth, aligns with business goals, and delivers a seamless user experience.

As our Web & SEO leader, you are a data-driven expert in your field, who is passionate about building customer experiences that deliver valuable outcomes. You will report to the Head of Marketing for EverPro and lead a team driving all SEO, UX and web dev activities. The ideal candidate has a proven history of leading and growing a high performing team and successfully collaborating with agency partners.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Development:
- Develop a forward-looking web strategy that integrates with EverPro’s overarching business goals and marketing vision.
- Drive innovation, ensuring the web properties serve as a strategic tool for lead generation, direct customer acquisition and brand elevation.
- Establish and communicate a strategic web and SEO (technical and content) roadmap to senior leadership outlining priorities, goals, and milestones.
- Partner cross functionally to help plan and execute our conversion rate optimization roadmap across organic and paid channels and in line with optimizing the customer journey maps.
- Utilize customer insights from qualitative and quantitative sources to guide teams on onsite best practices, technical site audits, user experience audits and implementation plans.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Cultivate customer empathy and centricity.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing web strategy team, including UX/UI design, development, web analytics and SEO roles.
- Serve as SEO and Web industry expert for internal stakeholders, providing communication and guidance for best practices and algorithm changes.
- Share best practices and learnings with the paid media team and synergize to enhance paid and organic performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate messaging, consistent design, and solid execution of ongoing and one-off campaigns.
- Establish agency or third-party partner relationships as needed.
- Performance Management and Analysis:
- Lead the overall web performance strategy, ensuring alignment with key metrics such as customer acquisition, revenue growth, user engagement, conversion rates.
- Spearhead data driven initiatives supporting SEO, paid media & CRO and user experience optimization.
- Develop ways to track, analyze and inform the performance of marketing campaigns and creative initiatives, leveraging data and insights to optimize future efforts.
- Foster a culture of continuous experimentation.
- Oversee the creation of dashboards and mechanisms to regularly present insights.
- Stay at the forefront of digital trends and competitive benchmarking to ensure that EverPro’s web presence is industry-leading and supports business objectives.
- Operations:
- Manage agency partners, including scoping vendor engagements and ensuring alignment to best practices and business goals.
- Drive workflow processes for Web and SEO teams and partner with other leaders to improve cross-functional workflows.
- Ensure scalability for future growth.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
- 15+ years’ of Web & SEO expertise for PLG and B2B SaaS companies, with 5+ years’ leading a mix of SEO & Web
- Knowledge of UX design principles and best practices
- Technical proficiency with web dev platforms, search engines and CMS
- Proficiency with the following tools: Google Analytics and/or Heap Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush & Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Excel
- Analytical and adept at project management
- Creativity and a test & learn experimentation mindset
- Excellent communication & presentation skills with the ability to articulate vision, strategies and performance to stakeholders
Where: {REMOTE, US}
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $180,000 to $190,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
