About the role: Events Project Coordinator, EMEA

Are you the designated party planner in your group of friends? If events are in your DNA as much as they are in ours, this could be the perfect role for you. We’re looking for a natural multitasker who loves to innovate, create, question, and execute best-in-class events in a fast-paced environment where two weeks can feel like two months.

At o9, you will own the coordination of interactive roundtables, networking sessions, webinars, and workshops with industry practitioners centered around focused, high-impact topics. You will work in close collaboration with our Engagement Marketing team to plan and execute events seamlessly end-to-end.

As we also drive the promotion of our events, you will support event marketing efforts through copywriting for promotional emails and social media assets, ensuring our messaging is clear, compelling, and consistent across channels.

You’re a great fit for this role if:

  • You are passionate about project management. You enjoy coordinating all activities around events. Dates in the calendar, list of participants, invitations, tracking of attendance & schedule meetings.  

  • You consider yourself a multitasker. Keeping the internal dashboard in place, working in multiple events at the same time to make sure they are all in place. 

  • You are passionate about working with different team members to ensure perfect alignment between teams. Keeping an ongoing communication with the wider teams. 

  • You thrive in the adrenaline of the event day. Supporting the team in the seamless execution of the events. 

  • You have a great priority setting and a sense of urgency.

  • You understand event promotion fundamentals, can translate messaging into engaging social media and email assets, and can create channel-specific copy that drives engagement.

  • You are used to working in a multicultural environment and are a true team player.

  • You understand, act on and embrace the company’s culture and work well in our flat structure.

  • You are a data lover who is curious about the insights that data brings to the table.

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset. You are prepared to constantly change and adapt your work methods to find the one that works best.

What you’ll have

  •  Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience events in an international high pace environment

  • Skills:

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills: proficiency level of English is a MUST

    • Helicopter view and ability to manage multiple events effectively at the same time.

    • Proficient use of MS Office package, Click up & Linkedin

    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Characteristics:

    • Communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and partnering skills

    • Willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and do what it takes to get the job done

    • Entrepreneurial spirit – identify new opportunities and improvements, not afraid of going extra miles to achieve your goals

    • Low on ego, high on interest to contribute to the benefit of your peers

    • No 9-5 mentality (we work with the o9 organization globally, including the US, Europe and Asia)

  • An assignment could be part of the hiring process
