The Role

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Events Contractor to build and scale a high-impact events program. This role goes far beyond logistics. You will be responsible for designing, activating, measuring, and continuously improving events that drive measurable pipeline, revenue, and engagement.

You will lead the full lifecycle for our key events, from strategy and planning to execution and post-event performance analysis. Successful events at our company are not just well-run and highly attended. They are measured by demand generation, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact.

Our marketing team is intentionally lean, which means every role has outsized impact and real ownership. If you thrive in fast-moving environments and are energized by building programs that produce tangible results, this role is for you.

Why This Role Matters

Events are a critical driver of our growth. This role will directly impact pipeline generation, customer expansion, and brand visibility. You won’t just run events; you will build a measurable, scalable event engine that contributes meaningfully to revenue.

What You’ll Do

Event Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute an integrated event strategy aligned to marketing and revenue goals.
  • Own the annual events calendar across industry conferences, meet-ups, roadshows, customer events, and webinars.
  • Identify the right mix of third-party and owned events to maximize brand presence and pipeline impact.
  • Manage budgets and forecast ROI across all programs.

Execution & Logistics

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution for events, including coordinating speakers and booth workers, and activities surrounding events (dinners, happy hours, etc.).
  • On-site event support, including set-up, check-in, flow, branding, and breakdown.
  • Manage vendors, venues, contracts, and production timelines.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, customer marketing, and executive teams.
  • Ensure flawless onsite and virtual execution with exceptional attendee experience.

Activation & Revenue Impact

  • Design pre-, during-, and post-event activation strategies that drive attendance, engagement, meetings, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with:
  • Sales to maximize meeting bookings and pipeline creation.
  • BDRs to develop nurture and follow-up workflows to convert engagement into opportunities.
  • Demand Gen to ensure events are integrated into broader campaign and account-based strategies.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define, track, and report on event KPIs.
  • Deliver post-event performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Continuously test, optimize, and improve event performance and ROI.
  • Build scalable processes and playbooks for repeatable success.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B event marketing or event management.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue through events.
  • Experience managing both in-person and virtual events.
  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with experience reporting on marketing KPIs.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating vendor contracts.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  • Ability to travel to geographically dispersed events.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in SaaS or technology companies.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Experience with the use of AI agents to accelerate workflows.
  • Experience with account-based marketing programs.
  • Experience managing multi-city event series.

What We Do

Decisions provides a rules-driven, no-code platform, enabling companies to drastically reduce their time to market for their applications. Decisions technology is deployed as the basis of multiple commercial applications in healthcare, life sciences, finance, logistics, and operations software. It is used directly by companies on almost every continent, ranging from mid-size companies to many Fortune 500 corporations. Decisions provides one no-code platform for all types of business processes. With our no-code visual designer you can deploy fast and empower business users to manage their own processes. There are thousands of features built-in, ready to drag and drop and you’re done! Our rules-driven automation allows you to adapt quickly to price changes, regulations, customer demands and more. We have seen technology evolve rapidly during the past decade, and the disruption of Covid-19 cannot be understated. Entire industries have been forced to reengineer how they get work done. The chaos caused by the pandemic has shown how ill-prepared many businesses are to adapt to sudden changes. For example, processing paperwork is difficult when employees are remote and paper forms are physically at the office. Without automation, these processes grind to a halt. Systems and processes that are inflexible and cannot scale break down when people change their behavior all at once. These are just some of the challenges presented by the global pandemic that are accelerating the adoption of automation and digital transformation. We remain committed to delivering an experience that gives more control and configuration ability to administrators. Specifically, allowing programmers to build things that can be configured by non-programmers in a way that is safe, visible and flexible. This challenge has driven us to create numerous technologies in use today at some of the world's largest and most innovative companies.
