Within an iconic 150 year old chapel, perched on a hill overlooking the picturesque Seaview sub-region of Mclaren Vale, you will find Chapel Hill, co-located with our beautiful wineryvineyardsThe Retreat and Guest House. The passionate team at Chapel Hill Wines aim to produce some of the best and most memorable wines from the McLaren Vale region, through pioneering viticulture, state-of-the-art technology, empathetic winemaking and regional expression. At Chapel Hill, we seek to produce wine of purity and balance, achieved through respect for the land, the vines, nature and people.

Chapel Hill Wines is the go-to wedding and events destination venue in McLaren Vale, boasting picturesque views from The Retreat, overlooking our vineyards and winery, with beautiful onsite accommodation and facilities. The role of Events Manager (Fixed Term Contract) is to continue to support couples with existing wedding bookings through site tours, industry consultation, execution of event strategy and end-to-end event ownership.

  • Salary: $90,000 p.a. + superannuation
  • Hybrid - flexible working arrangement
  • Fixed term contract finishing up in late January 2027
  • Support existing couples who have already booked their special day with us in the upcoming season

We are as passionate about delivering unique and memorable experiences as we are about producing world class McLaren Vale wine. This role would suit a high achieving event coordinator in the wedding industry. You will be responsible for curating unforgettable experiences for our existing wedding couples, bringing your guests' special days together successfully and stress-free.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Maintain, nurture and service existing wedding bookings
  • Create and develop event orders
  • Supplier and Vendor relations
  • Organise event collateral for upcoming events
  • Work with our 3rd party preferred caterer to deliver on guests’ expectations
  • Ensure accommodation is booked on site

You will provide support to event and venue team including:

  • Working in collaboration with key stakeholders (Hospitality Manager, Catering Partnership)
  • Greeting and liaising with key clients for high profile events
  • Briefing the team
  • End-to-end ownership of events

Skills Required

  • Experience as an event coordinator in the wedding industry
