Assist Events Foundation staff with planning certain components of events; including Signature Events, Community Events, and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Working toward a degree in Events, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field at an accredited college or university.
- An interest in event fundraising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity/Enthusiasm
- Organizational skills - Ability to manage time and meeting numerous deadlines
- Interpersonal skills - will work with volunteers and staff
- Computer use- limited desktop publishing work and proficient understanding in Microsoft programs.
- Car for local travel, minimal. (Mileage will be reimbursed)
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs.
