Reporting to the Entertainment Experience Manager, the Events & Entertainment Executive is responsible for planning and executing the 12-month Events and Activations Calendar for the business, with a key focus on managing the scheduling, booking and coordination of live entertainment across Crown Perth venues.

This role provides strategic planning and advice for new activations and events. Playing a major part in the Marketing program and servicing the events and activations for Business Units and areas of Gaming, Marketing, Hotel, Food & Beverage , People & Culture, PR & Sponsorship and Crown Perth initiated events.

Please note this would be an 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities: will include but not limited to:

  • Successfully plan and implement all relevant Crown Events including Events & Entertainment activities and property-wide activations within budget.

  • Lead the sourcing, booking, contracting, scheduling, and coordination of live entertainment, working closely with agents, performers, and suppliers to deliver diverse entertainment offerings across Crown Perth venues.

  • Maintain strong relationships with entertainment agents and live performers, ensuring smooth end‑to‑end delivery of entertainment programming.

  • Develop and communicate new innovative event initiatives to management that target their respective business units.

  • Build a client service focus and the ability to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with external organisations, suppliers and customers

  • Provide tailored event strategies to the Business to achieve successful outcomes for existing projects by developing and implementing new strategies.

  • Oversee Events & Entertainment activations. Identify areas to improve ongoing effectiveness for all property-wide activations and new initiatives

  • Take responsibility for ensuring compliance is met across all events and activations across Crown Resorts

  • Oversee contractual and administrative processes within the team, ensuring all documentation adheres to Crown Perth procedures including contractor management obligations.

About you

  • Minimum 3 years of corporate experience in events or project management of large and complex programs/events

  • Proven experience in booking and coordinating live entertainment, ideally with established relationships within the entertainment sector.

  • Strong time-management and organisational skills to pivot quickly and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities within a fast paced, high pressure environment.

  • Solid understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements in the Events & Entertainment industry

  • The ability to analyse problems, identify and implement appropriate solutions.

  • Knowledge and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Equal Opportunity and Ethical practice

  • Ability to work variable hours driven by the needs of the business including weekends and evenings

  • Commercial and outdoor events experience is desirable.

  • Sound understanding of the Western Australian live music landscape including talent, agents, and industry trends is highly desirable.

Skills Required
