DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively soliciting and attaining new customers and developing current customers.  

  • Supporting the planning process for customers and channels 

  •  Analyzing trends and growth opportunities, and proposing the appropriate plans to improve sales 

  • Submission of Monthly and Quarterly Sales Reports by current / new customer by the 3rd day of each month 

  • Assist BDM with daily, weekly, and monthly sales tracking 

  • Manage the submission of all sales quotes, proforma invoices, requisitions and purchase orders in a specified process timeframe as outlined by operational standards 

  • Securing customer orders and ensure production and operations departments are notified of order requests no later than 48 hours before the event via email or WhatsApp mediums 

  • Submission of monthly and quarterly Invoice and Requisition status to Finance department  

  • Timely and efficient management of all customer queries and customer invoice discrepancies 

  • Strong customer relations are developed through frequent communication and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction  

  • Customer profiles are developed, and an effective trace system is maintained to include trace dates and references, in order to best meet client needs, resulting in superior account service and increased revenues. 

  • Propose, customize and support promotions for each customer/segment and track the performance assuring they meet objectives within budget 

  • Conduct pricing surveys and monitor competitor activity as requested 

  • Organizing staff for events including but not limited to Servers, Janitors, Event Supervisors, Bartenders and Chef’s 

  • Booking Events including Catering, Equipment Rental, Decor and Staff 

  • Organizing delivery, set up, breakdown and collection of the equipment 

  • Conduct Site Visits with clients as required 

  • Assisting with the creation and execution of marketing Strategies for Events 

  • Follow up with customers to ensure accounts Receivables Collections are made on time and in full. 

  • Analyze sales data and provide input and recommendations to business growth and service improvements. 

  • Support all marketing initiatives, inclusive of social media monitoring, posting and follower responses. 

  • Record management and department filing a storage management.  

  • Liaise with operations, production, procurement, and other departments to ensure all clients’ needs are met in a timely manner 

  • Coordinate all orders from current and potential clients both local and international which include but is not limited to Private Jets/petrol stations/ retail and convenience stores  

  • Update business acumen of self and team by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, etc. 

  • Oversee materials and inventory management related to all accounts under remit.  

  • Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings  

  • Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment  

  • Any other duties as may be required 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE

  • A minimum of 4 years sales experience  

  • Associate Degree/ First Degree in Management, Marketing, or related discipline
