Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Event Management
- Assists with managing the planning and implementation of all Center events;
- Works with Center team to coordinate annual lectures, seminars, other public events, and regular workgroups and meetings.
- Works with supervisor to ensure integration of Center’s efforts into larger university missions and identifies opportunities for collaboration across centers, departments, and schools.
Communications & Partnerships
- Serves as a liaison for the Center with internal university departments and organizations outside of the university.
- Represents the Center at internal and external meetings and other functions;
- Works with Center team to implement communication plans and develop content to communicate effectively with Center audiences; develops new and maintains positive and effective relationships with partners.
Implementation of New Initiatives
- Supports the implementation of educational programs, workshops, and seminars relevant to the Center’s mission, including input on content and structure.
Perform other duties as assigned.
