Looking for a fantastic early career opportunity in digital marketing and communications?
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Events and Communications Support Intern to help implement our events and communications activities across South Europe and Eurasia. Within this role, during the internship, the successful candidate will support and activate local and regional events programs as well as internal and external communications activities, working closely with the Customer Unit (CU) Marketing and Communication Managers. You'll be supporting the delivery of key initiatives that drive awareness, perception and engagement for the Ericsson brand in our region and support our local team to deliver against our business objectives.
As the customer events and communications support coordinator, you will support the team by ensuring that events, campaigns and engagement programs are well organized, delivered, managed and supported. This also includes the management of meetings actions and administration needs set out by the marketing team.
What you will do• Work closely with the Customer Marketing Managers and Communications Managers to help plan, run and support with the delivery of any customer physical and/or hybrid/digital events, as well as internal and external communications activities;• Create and send out all pre-event documentation and materials, ensuring high standards are always met;• Keep the company CRM up to date at all times with relevant information, helping to manage invitation and attendance;• Support the continuous communication with all stakeholder departments to ensure all results are met;• Reporting of key digital engagement metrics across owned channels;• Explore and use AI tools to support content creation, analysis and communication activities;• General administration duties as required to support the team.
The skills you will bring• Current student or recent graduate from a University or Business School within Marketing, Communication or Business Studies;• Good understanding of digital marketing & communications;• Strong writing skills, attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative mindset;• Outstanding organizational skills;• Excellent written and spoken English;• Professional knowledge of other languages from the geography: Italian, German, Turkish, Greek, Romanian is considered a plus.• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently to achieve goals;• Ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of events;• Sound IT skills (MS Office), desirable to be proficient with multimedia tools;• Interest in AI tools and their application to communication and digital content.
The position will be based in Rome.
