We're looking for an Events and Communications Specialist to join our Issuer Services Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive marketing professional who enjoys bringing projects to life and delivering exceptional experiences. You'll support a diverse portfolio of client events, sponsorships, webinars and communications programs that strengthen client relationships, enhance brand visibility and support business objectives across the region. 

Working closely with marketing colleagues, business stakeholders and external suppliers, you'll play a key role in coordinating event and communications activities that engage clients and prospects, support go-to-market initiatives and elevate the Computershare brand. 

A role you will love

As Events and Communications Specialist - ANZ, you'll support the end-to-end delivery of engagement activities across Australia and New Zealand. You'll coordinate events and communications that help build client relationships, support prospect engagement and showcase Computershare's expertise across multiple market segments.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate event logistics including venues, registrations, suppliers, invitations, materials and attendee communications.
  • Support the delivery of client events, executive lunches, roundtables, sponsorship activations, webinars and industry conferences.
  • Maintain event and marketing databases and support administration activities.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns, email communications and social media promotion aligned to event and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Support event execution using webinar, virtual meeting and event registration platforms.
  • Monitor event objectives and performance metrics including registrations, attendance, engagement and satisfaction.
  • Develop post-event reports and recommendations to support continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate project schedules, timelines and stakeholder deliverables.
  • Support supplier management, budget tracking, invoice processing and event-related administration.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver high-quality event experiences.

  • Experience in marketing, communications or events-related roles.
  • Demonstrated event management experience and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting communications across email marketing, social media and event channels.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience in financial services, corporate events or B2B marketing environments will be highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with event management, webinar and email marketing platforms is advantageous.
