Job Description

The Client Engagement Events Manager will support our local events strategy, which manages thought leadership and lead generation events across client and other stakeholder audiences in Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Switzerland). Primarily this role will manage special client events, including ideating on topics, planning them annually/quarterly, executing and reporting on relevant metrics as needed. As events have fundamentally changed through the last couple of years during the pandemic, this person needs to be highly adaptable to change and enjoy pivoting direction to make the best decision for the business.

 

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for the most talented and curious individual who is excited by getting to be a part of a team who is working to build many strategic client initiatives from the ground up – including a completely refreshed messaging platform, and campaign content construct is launching along with a serious thought leadership game. This role will support Client Engagement and other client facing functions. You will roll up your sleeves and get right to work executing currently planned events and thinking through future opportunities to engage with our customers and partners through events and experiences. It will not be boring, we promise. You’ll have the ability to be part of something interesting where you will see your direct impact rather than being just another cog in the wheel.

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

 

 

Qualifications

Primary focus of your work so far has been in corporate events, preferably B2B
and/or virtual webinars or video production
You are a results-oriented professional with proven experience in event
strategy and production. Demonstrated experience managing and executing
events small and large.
You have a strong track record of creating and managing all aspects of events
from invitations to budget planning, speaker prep, rehearsals to consistent
messaging throughout.
You have the ability to build and nurture cross-functional relationships and
foster partnerships. High degree of professionalism, courtesy and respect
You have proven experience managing programs and vendors to deliver
efficient output and results
You have excellent project management expertise. Proven ability to manage
budgets, timelines and internal and external resources
You have the ability to distill and tailor complex information for key audiences
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage
multiple projects, often on short deadlines and under pressure
