Instruct and train customers and TRUMPF employees as applicable on TRUMPF EUV-systems for system operation, maintenance, diagnostics, and alignment. This includes training in standardized classes in the training center in Phoenix, AZ, and individualized classes in other training sites (domestic and international).


This opportunity offers a combination of work from home days and office.

EUV Training Engineer Duties & Responsibilities

  • Present training classes to customers and TRUMPF personnel on the applicable EUV-systems.
  • Evaluate existing training procedures and manuals and review with Training Manager.
  • Implement improvements to meet course demand and to achieve highest participant satisfaction.
  • Interface with technical writers and curricula developers in compiling and reviewing documentation and data.
  • Support the implementation of new learning methods (i.e., webinars, e-Learnings, and virtual classrooms).
  • Travel to customer locations and/or other TRUMPF facilities in the US and abroad for training or research needs.
  • Participate in projects, Continuous Improvement and SYNCHRO activity
  • Must reside in Phoenix, AZ

Travel

  • 15% – 30% travel is required, Domestic and international
  • Unrestricted ability to travel throughout North America, Europe, and Asia

Physical Requirement

  • Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office, and ability to conduct normal amount of work on a computer
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 70lbs.

Education & Experience

  • Two-year technical certification, Bachelors, or Master’s degree in Engineering, Optics, Physics or related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience
  • An in-depth technical background is required, preferably on EUV, semiconductor systems, machine tools, or similar industry.
  • Three or more years of demonstrated work experience in a technical service or training environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills; including report preparation and presentation skills and working in remote teams.
  • Demonstrated experience working according NFPA70E standards.
  • Excellent time management and independent work skills to plan and organize a multitude of concurrent assignments, with a focus on meeting deadlines and providing deliverables on time.
  • Microsoft Office; Teams, SharePoint. Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
