The EU Planning Manager is responsible for leading the forecasting process for Royal Canin products.
He/she is the expert on forecasting at strategic and operational level and regularly consulted for insights related to market growth activities. He/she is key enabler to support product availability, customer service excellence, mid/long term planning steering and process improvements.
Core activities include supply planning accuracy, scenario building based on market and regional insights, predictive analysis, product deployment support, cross functional projects implementation, continuous process and system improvement.
He/She works in a team of regional planners in constant connection with Sales, Marketing, Finance, R&D and Supply Chain departments.
What are we looking for?
3-5 years of experience in Planning function
Fluent English, French is a plus
Experience in forecasting and in improving business processes
Experience with Futurmaster or Advanced Planning system a plus
Strong passion for continuously improving forecast results while engaging the organization on demand insights.
Strong communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze complex data set and derive actionable conclusions
Ability to work independently and take initiative
What will be your key responsibilities?
Supply Planning & Forecasting
Lead the management of supply planning process for a set of defined markets which includes the integration of historical sales trends, researching demand drivers (competitive responses, trend, substitution effects), development of Statistical forecast models to develop a rolling 24-month forecast.
Interface with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Supply teams to reflect latest market and regional insights/assumptions into the EU planning system.
Lead periodical Supply Management Review with Markets to ensure clear communication regarding forecast, forecast variances and ensure supply feasibility of unconstraint requirements.
Custodian of the regional planning process. Must secure on-time demand plan submission to supply chain, commercial, operation and procurement team.
Animate community of local supply planners to ensure coordination of activities
Product Deployment
Support Regional product deployment by contributing to pre-launch deployment activities (definition of Road-To-Market, Language on packs, sourcing site, logistic information preparation…)
Ensure perfect execution of decision made related to product change management in coordination with Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, Commercial or Supply functions
Continuous Improvement
Define corrective actions associated to Forecast Accuracy gap vs regional target
Lead process improvement initiatives including best practices sharing with markets
Support operating procedures documentation and standardization
Support Root Causes Failure Analysis
System Maintenance, improvement and transformation
Support FuturMaster versioning upgrade
Be the backup KU of Futurmaster
Contribute to the maintenance of Product Life cycle & Bill of Supply in FuturMaster
