Main purpose of job

Monitors the end to end the portfolio performance in an unified manner for the European markets, by identifying the threats and the opportunities deriving from this, by preparing the recurrent analysis for Committees by ensuring alignment between credit risk approaches in European markets and driving continuous automation.

Key accountabilities

· Design and implement aligned credit risk dashboards, with unique calculation algorithms for the risk indicators across the European markets, in order to identify emerging risks or deteriorating credit trends and flag early warning indicators.

· Design and prepare the European credit committee analysis and pack, prepares detailed and aligned credit risk reports for all dedicated European committees, highlighting key risks, trends, and recommendations for mitigation and also analysis sustaining new credit proposals;

· Analyze and monitors the credit risk datasets available, from scoring moment up to the loan closing, provides insights and proposes measures to improve the risk indicators and enhance the portfolio performance.

· Participate in stress tests and scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of adverse economic conditions on credit risk across European markets in order to minimize exposure to sector-specific, regional, or channels concentration risks.

· Ensures that the risk appetite and policy is in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

· Participate in the Development and improvement of credit risk scoring models to predict more accurate the potential credit losses and better assess the health of the portfolio;

· Work cross-functional with the credit risk analysts from other markets in order to identify opportunities and align the credit risk reports and policies, meeting also the regulatory requirements.

· Serve as the strategic liaison between credit risk, marketing, IT, finance, and other departments, enabling efficient cooperation;

· Performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor according to business needs.

Knowledge, skills and experience

· Higher education, preferably in economics, statistics, mathematics, economics or a related field.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in credit risk management for clients from the retail/consumer financing sector.

· Experience in analyzing the credit risk indicators and new proposals;

· Knowledge of credit risk management for retail portfolios;

· Understanding statistics and finance.

· Good analytical skills

· Ability to present recommendations from a business perspective.

· Strong planning and organizational skills.

· Creativity and openness to change.

· Strong communication skills.

Essential Functional / Technical Skills:

· Strong proficiency in Excel, and credit risk tools.

· Experience with statistical software (Sql, R, Python) is a plus.

Other:

· Advanced knowledge of English (spoken and written).
