Let’s Talk about the Role
The Asset Management Europe Digital Sales and Business Development Manager reports to the Global Sales Leader for Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of APM (Asset Performance Management) and DvM (Diagnostic & Monitoring) business across Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), working in close coordination with the Grid Automation Sales Director and regional sales teams.
You will be accountable for expanding the Asset Management pipeline, achieving sales targets, and executing the regional Go-to-Market strategy. You will be supported by the central Asset Management team for subject matter expertise, software architecture, product demonstrations, and tendering support.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy: Develop and execute the Go-to-Market strategy for enterprise-level solutions, promoting the Asset Management portfolio to utility and industrial customers.
Sales Execution: Achieve sales targets by identifying, developing, and leading significant campaigns to win high-value, complex deals.
Synergy & Collaboration: Leverage existing GE Grid Solutions capabilities and early-stage engagement in key grid deals to proactively integrate and promote Asset Management solutions.
Portfolio Integration: Identify and capture digital opportunities by cross-selling the broader GE portfolio to resolve specific customer challenges.
Proposal & Contract Management: Lead proposal teams to develop innovative, customer-centric solutions; establish commercial agreements while leveraging global templates to ensure service delivery.
Sales Enablement: Educate and coach regional sales teams on best practices, processes, and tools to ensure consistent regional performance.
Market Intelligence: Utilize market data to refine regional strategies, launch marketing campaigns, and increase brand awareness while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any other relevant field.
Extensive knowledge of the European electrical and utility markets, complemented by a strong background in the digital/software business and sales domain.
Strong background in Grid Automation/Services or relevant industrial sectors, including power generation and oil and gas.
Ability to travel and valid work authorization in the EU.
Fluent in English.
