We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused L1 EUC Support – Desktop Support Engineer to provide first-level end-user computing (EUC) support while ensuring seamless IT operations across desktop environments. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in desktop and deskside support, hardware and software troubleshooting, basic networking, and user assistance, particularly in enterprise environments where service quality and responsiveness are critical.
As an L1 EUC Support Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering timely technical support to end users, resolving desktop-related issues, supporting conference room technologies, and maintaining IT infrastructure at the user level. You will collaborate with IT teams to ensure system availability, user productivity, and a high standard of customer service while providing support to business users, including VIP and VVIP stakeholders.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Provide first-level desktop and deskside support for hardware, software, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows operating systems, desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Perform operating system installation, patch management, software deployment, and routine system maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, application, and connectivity issues to minimize user downtime.
- Support Microsoft Office installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist users with basic networking issues, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, switches, and routers.
- Set up, configure, and support audio/video systems, conference room equipment, and virtual meeting technologies.
- Provide technical assistance using remote support tools such as Webex, TeamViewer, Putty, or similar platforms where applicable.
- Support VIP and VVIP users with prompt, professional, and high-quality technical assistance.
- Maintain accurate incident records, service requests, asset inventories, and technical documentation while adhering to organizational IT support processes.
- 4+ years of experience in Desktop Support, Deskside Support, or End User Computing (EUC) environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in desktop hardware, operating systems, software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of basic networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and routers.
- Experience with Windows OS installation, patch management, hardware diagnostics, and software support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office administration and end-user support.
- Experience configuring and supporting conference room technologies and audio/video equipment.
- Familiarity with remote support tools such as Webex, Putty, TeamViewer, or similar solutions is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience using Cisco console cables and supporting enterprise laptop environments.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with the ability to support VIP and executive users professionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize incidents and deliver timely resolutions in a fast-paced IT support environment.
