WHAT YOU’LL LOVE DOING

Our Managed Services Team is fast-paced, nimble, and stands for excellence. You will be a vital part of this team. This role is for someone who loves variety and is passionate about growing a career as a world-class engineer. You will be a vital part of our Managed Services Team, and responsible for leading and advising key clients. Your main responsibilities include:

• Technical Leadership
  • Serve as the primary expert for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Netscaler, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Nerdio support, providing Level 3 support and mentorship to junior engineers
• Client Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and clients, acting as a trusted advisor
• Solution Design and Implementation
  • Design, implement, and optimise EUC solutions, including CVAD, Citrix Cloud Services, and AVD with Nerdio
• Health Checks and Documentation
  • Conduct proactive health checks and present findings to partners and clients, create detailed documentation (scopes of work, design documents, as-built documents, test plans and change records), and ensure the highest standards of service delivery
• Continuous Learning
  • Stay updated with the latest in IT, particularly in CVAD, Citrix Netscaler, AVD, Nerdio and Azure technologies
• ITILv4 Alignment
  • Ensure all processes and solutions align with ITILv4 best practices for incident, change, and problem management

Ultimately, you will ensure our company’s Modern Endpoint Management, Security, and Identity efforts help us achieve our immediate and long-term business goals in Australia, the US, and UK.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 10+ years of experience in End User Computing, with a focus on CVAD, Citrix Netscaler, AVD, and Nerdio.
• Expert-level skills in:
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD): Including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud Services, Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM), Citrix Federated Authentication Service (FAS), and Citrix ADC
• Citrix Netscaler: Configuration and management, load balancing, VPN and gateway setup, Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB), and Citrix ADC nFactor authentication
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Configuration, scaling, performance optimisation, and integration with Azure services such as Virtual Networks, Azure AD, and Azure storage solutions
• Nerdio: Deployment, management, and optimisation of Nerdio for Azure
• Proven ability to effectively present to diverse audiences, ranging from C-level executives and strategic partners to engineering teams
• Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems, including application packaging, deployment, and patching/image management processes
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Microsoft and Citrix solutions
• Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms, including Entra ID and Modern Authentication
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Solid understanding of ITIL framework and best practices for incident, change, and problem management.

Experience Desired (Nice to Have)

• Expertise in Azure security services, Defender for Cloud, and Defender for Identity
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, PowerBi, Hashicorp Packer, Terraform, PowerShell, Microsoft System Center, and tools like Patch My PC, Okta, and ControlUp

Relevant certifications include Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE-V), Citrix Certified Professional – Networking (CCP-N), Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
