We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethical standards for the following position:
- Engineering Technical Lead - Mechanical Engineer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience with mechanical equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, utility, and process mechanical systems.
- Experience performing field walkdowns and generating punch list items.
Responsibilities
- Support the Engineering Team in conducting active mechanical pre-energization walkdowns.
- Verify installation completeness and readiness of mechanical systems and equipment prior to startup and energization.
- Review equipment installation against approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Participate in field inspections of mechanical equipment including, but not limited to:
- Chillers
- Boilers
- Fluid Coolers
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- HVAC Systems
- Pumps
- Piping Systems
- Mechanical Utility Systems
- Support active pre-energization walkdowns for mechanical equipment and associated support systems.
- Identify deficiencies, installation issues, and quality concerns.
- Create, document, track, and follow up on punch list items and field observations.
- Coordinate with construction, commissioning, quality, and engineering teams to resolve identified issues.
- Support mechanical turnover and readiness activities leading to startup and operation.
- Provide written status updates and reports as required.
