Job Overview:

Finance, Markets and Credit Risk Technology, enables Citi to achieve its day-to-day and long-term growth goals, enabling execution of Citi’s Strategy by providing services, technical solutions, and infrastructure across the bank. These solutions enable Citi to comply with regulatory mandates and empower our businesses to achieve their goals, both current and long-term. 

In Finance, Market and Credit Risk Technology (FMCRT) we’re pushing the limits of technology. Our products and initiatives adhere to Citi’s strategic architecture principles and support the end-to-end integration of multiple global functions within the bank including Finance, Risk, and Controllers. 

Responsibilities:

• Pull data from client databases using SQL scripts or KNIME or Equivalent ETL Technology.
• Connect KNIME to source systems & files.
• Work with Project Manager and client to understand requirements.
• Junior ETL Developers aid in the creation and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring the efficient and reliable flow of data from source to destination. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Independently solve complex technical problems.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality.

Skill Required

• Proficient in ETL technology. Expertise and hands on experience in Knime/Ab-initio/Talend/Informatica or equivalent technology, create generic components, API integration, debug issues and provide solution/SME support to Developers.
• Develops standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
• Knowledge of DBMS and Big data technologies is preferred.
• Should be open and quick to learn new technology as the project demand.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in ETL
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
