We are seeking an experienced ETL SSIS Developer with strong expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems to join our banking technology team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), ensuring accurate and timely data integration for AML compliance and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses and AML systems.
- Collaborate with AML compliance teams to understand data requirements for transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, and regulatory reporting.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and scripts for data processing and validation.
- Ensure data integrity and quality across all AML-related datasets.
- Support AML systems such as Actimize, SAS AML, or similar platforms by providing accurate data feeds.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and database issues in a timely manner.
- Document ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows for audit and compliance purposes.
- Work closely with business analysts, compliance officers, and IT teams to deliver AML solutions aligned with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ETL development using SSIS in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
- Hands-on experience with AML systems and understanding of AML compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as BSA, KYC, and OFAC.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Actimize, SAS AML, or similar AML platforms.
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data automation.
- Exposure to cloud-based ETL tools (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue) is a plus.
- Understanding of big data technologies and data governance practices.
