Job Summary
An ETL Developer is a software engineer or data professional responsible for designing, developing, and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that help integrate data from various sources into a data warehouse, data lake, or other storage systems.
Responsibilities & Duties
Providing technical expertise to support and maintain continuity of the supported application systems
Identifies and recommends software and applications that will improve the stability of supported application systems
To implement the best practices and coding standards of the task or project
Providing technical solutions for complex IT requirements and create conceptual architecture diagram and process flow
To manage and support regulatory reporting operations to ensure submission done within timeline and expected quality
To manage ACR for system enhancement (source systems/data enrichment, report automation, more controls), change request and issues fixing within stipulated timeline and quality
Play active role in project implementation mainly in data integration and data accuracy.
Involve in project management: Manage project timeline, communications, issues and risks
To abide by all the project and company guidelines and standards and to ensure that even the team members are doing so
To establish strong working relationships with business users, peers, contract staff and IT vendors
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (IT) / Computer Science / Related IT fields
More than 5 years of working experience in IT especially on banking and data management area
5~6 years in experience with IBM Datastage ETL Tool and relational databases
Other ETL tool experience an added advantage
Sound knowledge and experience in application development and implementation in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
Good communications and collaboration skills with all the respective stakeholders
