The Opportunity
As a ETL Data Engineer you will work closely with a multidisciplinary Agile team to build high quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions that generate insights from connected data, enabling advanced data-driven decision-making capabilities. You will collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed processes including, but not limited to, Global Transparency Disclosure Reporting, Compliance Risk Assessment and Monitoring, Corporate Philosophy, Enterprise Risk Management, and other business intelligence tools and dashboards, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
Responsibilities

  • Perform ETL data activities in the design, optimization, and extension of full-stack data and business solutions spanning extraction, transformation, storage, and visualization layers.
  • Design, implement, and test ETL data integration to support business applications and analytics solutions, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
  • Perform ETL activities practice, data analysis and data modelling for Operational Application/Digital Products and Analytical Data Warehouse databases.
  • Perform data reconciliation, monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders, downstream systems, and business processes that depend on it.
  • Work with partners in Corporate Functions (Global Corporate Strategy, Group Internal Audit, Global General Counsel, Global Corporate Affairs, Global Ethics and Compliance), Technology, Data, and Ecosystem to accomplish goals.
  • Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines that adhere to ETL principles and business goals.
  • Define data requirements, gather and mine large scale of structured and unstructured data, and validate data by running various data tools in the Big Data Environment.
  • Support Data Scientists in data sourcing and preparation to visualize data and synthesize insights of commercial value.
  • Support standardization, customization and ad-hoc data analysis, and develop the mechanisms to ingest, analyze, validate, normalize and clean data.


Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience or relevant project / coursework
  • Experience with SQL, Relational Databases, or NoSQL data stores (Postgres, Oracle, Redshift, Cassandra, MongoDB, Neo4J, ...)
  • Experience in ELT/ETL (Glue, Informatica, or Databricks)
  • Experience in Data Lake or Data Warehouse, Datamart environments
  • Ability to write and speak in the English languages


Nice to Have

  • Additional Languages: Python
  • Experience in Cloud environments, especially AWS (S3, EC2, EMR, Athena)
  • Experience in Spark or Hadoop
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps (Github)

Salary
As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is € 2200 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
