The Brinks Company is looking for an Ethics & Compliance Analyst. This position will assist in the support of adaptable and proactive processes, practices, and projects to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Ethics & Compliance Team. This position will work closely with our Global Head of Ethics & Compliance to identify opportunities for improvement, help implement, manage, and support those changes, and provide reporting and metrics.
This position will require a professional who can handle highly confidential information and data, exercise discretion and professional judgment, and work independently with limited supervision or prescribed procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key databases and processes, extracting data and providing analysis for the Global Ethics & Compliance Team
- Support Ethics & Compliance Team tools to streamline new or existing practices
- Develop and drive improved compliance with processes/policies and optimize workflows within the Ethics & Compliance Team department
- Developing reports, metrics, and dashboards to support the goals and initiatives of the Global Ethics & Compliance Team
- Track and maintain
- Offline training
- Online training
- Internal investigation data
- KYC and TPRM data
- Maintenance and support of Ethics & Compliance Team collaboration and intranet sites
- Support distribution of Global Ethics & Compliance communications
- Planning and organizing meetings and travel
- Performance of special and ongoing projects or initiatives, to include working independently or within a team
- Preparing, drafting and/or editing correspondence, reports, analyses and other communications and data, often of a highly confidential nature
- Organizing and maintaining such filing systems as are deemed necessary
- Support with budget preparation and tracking
- Other duties as needed
Skills & Experience:
- B.A. or B.S. preferred; minimum 60 hours college credit
- 2+ years of experience in a risk-related role (legal, internal audit, finance, etc.) with a preference for prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (with proficiency in analytics and legal terminology)
- Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups to set objectives and produce results
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Support ad hoc projects within the team as they arise
- High level of diplomacy and tact, ensuring confidentiality of information when required
- Ability to balance multiple tasks/deadlines and effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, determined, and able to work under own initiative
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Comfort with data analytics and learning new systems
