ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST – Training and Communications

The Compliance Specialist – Training and Communications supports nVent’s Ethics & Compliance Program by leading the implementation of the annual training and communications plan. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Employee Communications team to develop and deliver engaging compliance messaging and learning content across the organization. You will also design and analyze employee surveys to measure program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in ethics and compliance awareness.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of the annual Ethics & Compliance awareness and training program, including content management, communications, data processing, reporting, and monitoring activities.
  • Manage end-to-end training logistics such as content deployment, scheduling, enrollment, reminders, tracking, and escalation of non-completion through the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS) and communication channels.
  • Analyze employee survey results, training metrics, and engagement data; prepare dashboards and reports highlighting trends, insights, and recommended improvements.
  • Support process improvements by identifying best practices and recommending enhancements to training and communication workflows.
  • Assist with internal audits and regulatory reviews by compiling and maintaining training records, communication archives, survey documentation, and effectiveness of evidence.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Communications team to support the Ethics & Compliance communications strategy, including annual training campaigns and integrity initiatives.
  • Demonstrate creativity and adaptability in problem-solving to drive continuous improvement in program delivery and engagement.
  • Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects designed to enhance the effectiveness and reach of nVent’s Ethics & Compliance Program.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting enterprise-level Legal, Compliance, or HR training and communications programs.
  • Understanding key Ethics & Compliance topics (e.g., Code of Conduct, anti-bribery, conflicts of interest, data privacy, and trade compliance).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for global audiences.
  • Excellent analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with LMS platforms, content creation tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS 365); data visualization skills (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Skilled in survey design and analytics, including question development, optimizing response rates, and interpreting results.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Critical and creative thinker with high energy and strong work ethic.
  • Adaptability to evolving regulatory guidance and organizational priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
  • Ability to work in different time zones and schedules

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a multinational  industry.
  • Certification in compliance or risk management (e.g., CCEP, CCEP-I).
