Raytheon Estimating and Pricing is seeking a strong candidate for an Estimating & Pricing Lead position. The qualified candidate will partner and support proposal activity for the Advanced Products & Solutions (AP&S) programs in McKinney, TX.  This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to partner with the program leadership team, as well as Program / Capture Managers, Finance, Technical Leads, and functional support.

This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.  This position will support McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do

  • Be independently responsible for the development, analysis and completion of the most significant proposals in terms of complexity and company importance.

  • Lead/contribute to the development of pricing strategies

  • Assist SBU/SSBU Estimating management with work assignments, monitor progress, and ensure adequate resources are available within a program to complete a proposal

  • Interface and coordinate with all levels of management within the program (this includes ensuring alignment on priorities, strategies, expectations, and providing status)

  • Prepare and deliver completed TINA cost volumes on complex proposals in a deadline-driven, high visibility environment while maintaining the highest level of compliance

  • Selected individual will be responsible for reviewing Basis of Estimates for accuracy and compliance

  • Provide interactive support to the Contracts and Program Management Team during customer price negotiations

  • Support proposal development in compliance with all Raytheon procedures and Government regulations

  • Partner with Contracts, Production Control, Program Management and Cost Estimating Teams to develop detailed cost and price analysis for proposal development  

  • Prepare and present internal management reviews up to the Director level in accordance with the proposal schedule

  • Support all government requests and audits and be able to communicate effectively with the DCMA and DCAA organizations

  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, Raytheon internal regulations and Raytheon pricing guidelines

  • Develop, maintain and periodically audit compliance processes for direct and indirect government proposals

  • Strategically partner with the Proposal Management Group to implement process improvements

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

  • Proposal Pricing and/or Compliance Auditing experience

  • Experience in US Government contract clauses (FAR, DFAR, TINA, etc.)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
