WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an Equipment Service Technician (EST), you will diagnose, repair, and maintain dental equipment while delivering responsive, professional customer service within your assigned territory. You will manage service requests, provide repair updates, offer guidance on equipment care and upgrades, and coordinate vendor repairs when required. You will also support territory growth by prospecting new customers and promoting preventative maintenance agreements and related service solutions. In addition, you will complete work orders, billing, collaborate with internal teams, and maintain flexibility to meet customer needs, including occasional evening or weekend work.
WHAT YOU BRING
You are a hands-on, customer-focused technician with a strong interest in mechanics and electronics and a passion for solving problems. You bring technical training and experience in a service or equipment environment, along with the confidence to communicate clearly and professionally with customers. Organized, detail-oriented, and technologically savvy, you are comfortable using computer systems to manage service records, track repairs, and ensure accurate, timely documentation. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills allow you to build trust, explain technical concepts clearly, and identify opportunities to add value through service solutions.
You enjoy working in dynamic environments, whether at customer sites or in a shop setting, and are physically capable of lifting, unpacking, and moving equipment up to 100 lbs. You are adaptable and flexible, willing to adjust your schedule when needed to ensure customers receive timely and exceptional service.

*This position reports to our Concord/Ottawa Branch and requires travel across Ontario.
Compensation: The posted range for this position is $55,000– $65,000 which is the expected salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, skills, certifications, location/labour market, internal equity, etc
