As an Essbase Developer Associate in our MIS and Platforms team , you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Job Responsibilities :
- Migrating and establishing Essbase 19c/21c onto the Oracle Cloud Instance (OCI) to leverage cloud capabilities.
- Utilizing ETL tools (preferably SQL, PL/SQL) to migrate data from legacy on-prem databases to the cloud efficiently.
- Maintaining and supporting Oracle databases using SQL and PL/SQL to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Performing development duties within the Essbase 21C and SQL Server 2019 environments, including current state improvements and the creation of new applications.
- Providing production support for the Essbase and SQL Server 2012, 2019 environments, including security, scheduled job maintenance, troubleshooting, and performing quality control steps to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintaining and supporting existing Essbase code in an Oracle database environment to ensure continued functionality and performance.required.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related major (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems etc.,) Minimum 5 year of experience •
- Essbase, oracle database, oracle cloud, Essbase 19c/Essbase21, Essbase 11.1.2.4 Essbase Administration Services(EAS), ETL - SQL, Dodeca, Smart View, Unix scripting, Linux scripting, Atoti, DataBricks, command line.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle
- Ability to collaborate with global teams and work in a fast paced, results driven environment tackling complex problems
- Excellent multi-tasking, prioritization, presentation & communication skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Exposure to ETL tools like SSIS.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for deployment is a plus
- Experience with SQL, Atoti, DataBricks and other BI tools is preferred
