Activities:
Help the sales team by using technical or scientific knowledge about products
Provide specializes technical and commercial support
Support from the first idea, through sales, product tests, and training
Take the lead in solving technical problems and talking with customers
Join sales meetings to explain how products work, their limits, and special uses
Create presentations showing how products meet customer needs
Write down customer needs and help guide sales plans and proposals
Train other sales staff and offer technical training for customers
Work with teams like engineering, manufacturing, or quality to find design or usage issues
Look into new or improved ways to offer products and services
Offer help after a sale, during product testing or installation
Go with account managers to visit customers and help solve product problems
Bachelor’s Degree Completed. Fields of Study: Business Administration or Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
Preferred experience in a similar role or position, including:
- Team coordination
- Technical sales
- Application of marketing concepts
- Preparation of technical and commercial proposals
- Technical applications and specifications
