Job Title: ESG & Sustainability Specialist

Location: Remote, USA - PST & MST – Preferred

About the Role:

We are looking for an ESG & Sustainability Specialist to support and expand our environmental and corporate sustainability initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate across departments to advance Natera’s sustainability programs, enhance data reporting, and engage employees in impactful ESG initiatives. Key Responsibilities:Program Coordination & Execution

  • Support the Director of ESG in executing ESG and sustainability initiatives aligned with company goals and industry standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with teams such as HR, Operations, and Communications to integrate sustainability efforts across the company.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Support employee engagement programs, such as sustainability education, waste diversion, and awareness campaigns.

Research & Data Analysis

  • Conduct research on sustainability best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to inform Natera’s ESG strategies.
  • Assist in data collection for greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting and emissions calculations.
  • Analyze sustainability metrics and generate insights to track progress and measure impact.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop ESG-related content for internal and external audiences, including presentations, reports, newsletters, and website updates.
  • Support employee-led sustainability initiatives, such as volunteer events and Green Team programs, to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote sustainability awareness and participation.

Qualifications:Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies/Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 0-3 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, corporate responsibility, or a related field.
  • Experience in sustainability program management, waste diversion initiatives, or environmental reporting is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and content development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for ESG and sustainability, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
