ESG Specialist – Drive Sustainability at Hempel (10-12 Month Temporary Role)

Be Part of the Change
In this role, you will play a key part in managing our ESG initiatives, ensuring compliance with global sustainability standards, and driving continuous improvements in our ESG ratings. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders, analyze sustainability data, and contribute to Hempel’s ongoing commitment to a more sustainable future.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage ESG ratings & assessments – Lead updates for platforms like CDP and Ecovadis, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
- Drive sustainability reporting – Coordinate and analyze ESG data, create scorecards, and identify improvement areas.
- Support ESG frameworks & compliance – Update self-assessment questionnaires and align with UNGC (United Nations Global Compact) principles.
- Enhance customer engagement – Respond to incoming ESG-related customer inquiries, ensuring a structured approach to data handling.
- Share impactful stories – Collect and coordinate case studies to showcase Hempel’s sustainability efforts.
What You Bring to the Team
- 1-2 years of experience working with sustainability, ESG, or related fields.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Management, or a related field.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
