Overview:
We are seeking for a data operations professional to join our ESG Operations Team. In this role, you will get to liaise with various stakeholders within the ISS ESG organization to ensure proper coverage, data management and client satisfaction. Someone who has extensive experience with financial data backed with good communication skills and operations background would fit best in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate between different research teams within ISS ESG
- Monitor, maintain and communicate coverage universes through Rebalance, and corporate action for the target core coverage universe for ISS ESG Research
- Own and manage client inquiries on company mapping, coordinating with data management teams within ISS ESG
- Identify risks and coordinate resolutions based on system tracking reports
- Proactively communicate and educate other needs on operational methodologies and status of ISS ESG company mapping
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or masters a plus
- 5-10 years of experience with financial data including security identifier and corporate structures; have dealt with any national numbering entities is an advantage
- Fluency in English required. Knowledge of any other Asian or European language is a plus
- Proactive attitude, innovative, motivated, client-oriented and commercially-aware thinker with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated project management skill – define scope, resources and time lines and manage to deliverables
- Excellent organizational and verbal skills, particularly around communicating technical details to non-technical contacts
- Encourage and facilitate dialogue between research teams on mapping issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite
- Knowledge and experience with Python, VBA Macros is a plus
- Absolute personal and business integrity
