ESG Manager (m/f/x)

Your playing field:

• Take the lead on sustainability projects like a star player, ensuring they deliver winning results.
• Contribute to sustainability reporting ensuring compliance with European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
• Meticulously managing environmental data, ensuring that no carbon stat goes unchecked.
• Score big by aligning carbon tracking efforts with company targets and delivering on sustainability goals.
• Be the team's coach; training internal teams on sustainability best practices and inspiring a shared vision of success.

Which skills you should bring to the pitch:

• Qualifications. Bachelors’ degree in Sustainability Management, Environmental Management or equivalent qualification.
• Experience. At least 3 years on the field in sustainability management, and experience in submitting Science-Based targets and achieving certification.
• Technical Mastery. 
  • Mastery of ESRS, GRI, and other reporting standards to stay compliant.
  • Previous experience in ESG Reporting. 
  • Skilled in GHG Protocol, IPCC, and country-specific databases—know your carbon footprint stats like a match-day analyst.
  • Experienced in submitting Science-Based Targets and achieving certifications.
  • Familiar with heavyweights like Ecovadis and S&P Global—your team’s sustainability ratings are in good hands.
• Language. As #1 sports betting provider on the German-speaking market, fluency in German would be considered as a plus but not mandatory. Our team consists of more than 50 different nationalities working together to achieve Tipico's mission, so fluency in English skills is necessary.
