ESG Technical Analyst - Drive Sustainability Initiatives

About the Role
As an ESG Technical Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of evaluating, analyzing and helping to drive our strategy to impact Cencora's performance in relation to ESG standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure efficient data collection, reporting, and compliance with industry regulations. From requirements understanding to data analysis as well as stakeholder engagement, you'll play a crucial role in advancing our sustainability goals.
What You'll Do
As an ESG Technical Analyst, you'll contribute to our sustainability efforts while collaborating with various departments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Strategy: Continuous assessment of overall technology footprint to drive technical roadmap and capability needs.
- Data Strategy: Gather and analyze ESG-related data leveraging recommended data warehouse solutions for efficient reporting and insights.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate ESG performance to stakeholders.
- Research and Benchmarking: Conduct research to assess our ESG practices against industry standards and peers.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential ESG-related risks affecting the organization's reputation and financial stability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant ESG regulations and stay updated on legislative changes.
- Collaboration: Work with various departments to develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with ESG goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Promote awareness and understanding of ESG issues among internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting and support: Assist in support technical and business needs pertaining to technology.

We're seeking a highly skilled analyst who can operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Key qualifications include:
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, environmental science, social sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in ESG/sustainability are a plus.
- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in an ESG or sustainability-focused role.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks such as IFRS,GRI,CDP,TCFD,CDSB,ESRS.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and ability to configure, optimize, and customize SF products.
- Experience with data warehouses for efficient ESG data collection and reporting.
- Familiarity with ESG platforms such as Salesforce NetZeroCloud, Workiva, AuditBoard, Ecovadis, IBM Envizi, Sphera.
- Assist with integrating Net Zero Cloud with other Salesforce products or external systems using APIs and other integration tools.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical experience with ESG platforms and data warehouse technologies.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in multiple data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of ESG standards and frameworks.
- Strong technical understanding of data flows, databases, data lakes, APIs, etc.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively.
- Experience with Jira and operating in an Agile environment.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Certifications:
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification
- Tableau Certification
WORK EXPERIENCE:
6+ years of directly related or relevant experience, preferably in healthcare data analytics or business intelligence related to ESG.
