Job Description Summary
The ESG (Environmental Social Governance) FRA Process & Project Expert supports the successful implementation of key strategic ESG initiatives. This role will assist in shaping the non-financial reporting infrastructure, contributing to the company's reputation & disclosures, and management information sys-tems. The ESG FRA Process & Project Expert enables the business to achieve sustainable growth by providing valuable ESG non-financial information and supporting the company to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements globally and locally
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supports the coordination of overall project planning, execution, and progress reporting across assigned ESG reporting projects
Plans and schedules project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools and engages with stakeholders
Prepares input material for governance meetings and update materials for broader ESG governance bodies, as needed
Documents regulatory assessments and impacts for Novartis
Reports on status to respective governance bodies and stakeholders
Supports the local first time non-financial reporting implementation and ensures compliant reporting
Monitors project progress and performance against established milestones and deliverables
Key Requirements:
Relevant years of experience in finance, accounting, and reporting, with an understanding of financial processes and principles
Experience in ESG with an understanding of ESG reporting and regulatory landscape
Experience in project management and change management, with the ability to support initiatives in cross-functional teams
Good collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively and build relationships with stakeholders across different functions and departments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with audit assurance, compliance, internal control frameworks, as well as reporting standards, is an advantage
