This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise at the intersection of sustainability, business strategy, and regulatory compliance while working alongside experienced consultants and supporting a diverse range of clients.

Position Summary

As an STC Consultant, you will support corporate sustainability disclosure and ESG-related initiatives. Through disclosure support, research and analysis, ESG data management, and client deliverables, you will help organizations advance their sustainability agendas and meet evolving reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sustainability disclosure activities, including annual securities reports, integrated reports, and sustainability reports
  • Conduct research and analysis on sustainability disclosure frameworks such as CSRD, ISSB, TCFD, and other emerging standards
  • Collect, organize, and analyze ESG-related data
  • Assist in the preparation of client reports, presentations, proposals, and sustainability-related deliverables
  • Support Project Managers and Senior Consultants in the delivery of sustainability and ESG engagements
  • Contribute to broader sustainability consulting projects, including disclosure, strategy, and performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Business-level English proficiency
  • Advanced communication skills in Japanese
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Sustainability or ESG disclosure and reporting
    • Preparation of integrated reports, annual securities reports, sustainability reports, or related disclosures
    • Investor Relations (IR), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), or corporate sustainability functions

Preferred

  • Experience in Climate Change and Corporate Sustainability Consulting (CCSC), including:
    • Climate change and carbon management
    • Decarbonization strategies
    • Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas accounting
    • TCFD-related advisory projects
  • Previous experience in a consulting firm
  • Familiarity with global sustainability reporting standards and regulations
