Key Responsibilities
- Contributing to and implementing Dun & Bradstreet’s global ESG strategy as the key contact for our International operations.
- Supporting implementation of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) program globally, organizing community engagement events, and managing employee engagement initiatives
- Overseeing ESG data collection including managing our data management platform and ensuring internal contributors receive the necessary support to provide timely and accurate data inputs
- Ensuring continued alignment with ESG reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFRS, UNGC/UN SDGs) and compliance with global reporting regulations such as the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
- Monitoring evolving ESG regulations and industry trends to ensure the program remains compliant with shifting local and international requirements, particularly in areas like climate disclosure
- Partnering with internal teams to align ESG goals and integrate ESG considerations into decision making processes
- Collaborating with external advisors, industry associations, and community partners to strengthen the company’s engagement and program alignment.
- Contributing to and supporting the delivery of the annual ESG report, including collecting and auditing data, aligning content with industry reporting standards, and working with internal contributors to ensure report content is complete and accurate.
- Submitting disclosures to ESG rating agencies (such as S&P, CDP, EcoVadis, and others) and responding to client inquiries about our ESG program.
- Contributing to the identification, coordination, and mitigation of ESG related risks with focus on International locations.
- Increasing team member awareness and understanding of ESG principles in partnership with the Communications team.
- Updating and implementing global ESG policies
- Supporting the International Operations team with application or implementation of other standards related to sustainability such as ISO 14001, ISO 50001 etc.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sustainability, environmental sciences or other relevant field is preferred
- 4+ years of experience working in corporate sustainability, ESG, or corporate responsibility preferably for a multinational business
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks such as CSRD, GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFRS, UNGC/UN SDGs, and global sustainability legislation
- Understanding of how to track and calculate scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions and other key environmental metrics, and experience using emissions calculation software
- Excellent communication (both verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an ISO 14001 certified organization is desirable
- Experience implementing emissions reduction initiatives is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills
